Vice President of Operations
Adam Bubonovich joined BERG in 2017 as Vice President of Operations, and has more than 20 years of experience as a strategy operations leader in the pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device industries. Mr. Bubonovich is responsible for spearheading the operational activities to achieve the development program milestones according to the CEO and Board-approved plans. In addition, he aims to streamline BERG’s therapeutic drug-development efforts, assist the Executive team with strategic planning implementation and process improvement, and drive the CMC strategy and outsourcing while preparing the organization for commercial readiness.
Prior to joining BERG, Mr. Bubonovich served as Senior Director of Clinical Business Operations at Alnylam pharmaceuticals where he led a team to deliver an optimal clinical operations infrastructure and innovation strategy for their outsourced model. He also served as Head of the North American Clinical & Medical Organization for Novartis/GlaxoSmithKline, where he directed a large, cross-functional remote team responsible for the execution of clinical development activities in Phase 1 to 4 studies.
Mr. Bubonovich’s other experiences include serving as a key member of the sales leadership teams to create the strategic launch of a 200-person field-based organization and the necessary operational support for a new meningitis vaccine. Lastly, Adam coordinated the project-planning efforts to track all 60 million H1N1 vaccine doses by collaborating across CMC, Supply Chain, Commercial, and the U.S. government.
Mr. Bubonovich holds his MBA from Boston University’s Questrom School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Babson College.
